How to Prevent Frozen Pipes

It’s cold out there & stuff WILL FREEZE !!  Here are a few pointers to help you in preventing frozen pipes.

• Keep the Heat On To prevent your pipes from freezing – ideally, you should keep your home’s heating running at an even temperature at all times. …
• Have Fans Blow Heat Into Cold Rooms …
• Let Your Faucets Drip …
• Use Extra Insulation …
• Keep Cabinet Doors Open, particularly one’s under sinks, on outer walls …
• Keep Your Garage Door Closed …
• Disconnect outside Hoses
• Store Hoses Indoors …
• Drain/blow out Swimming Pool pipes …

SIDENOTE:  Pets get cold too !! …… Please get them out to do their “thing” & then get them back inside ASAP.
